Yes, couple of months of silence at this blog. Well, you know… I had to finish the movie…

But now the work is done. Ufff… We have produced 4 versions: the English and the Slonevian theatrical versions (68 min.), the International Broadcasting version (58 min.) and the Slovenian Broadcasting version (52 min.). A hell of a work, believe me!

In the mean time we also worked on the production of all the rewards for the crowdfunding. We will start sending the rewards out around mid September.

But the very actual news is that the T-SHIRT OF THE MOVIE IS FINALLY AVAILABLE FOR ON-LINE PURCHASE!

AFTER PARTY and T-SHIRTS

Last week there were a lot of important things to do around the movie the main one being the organization of the Live Crowdfunding Party at BI-KO-FE. Luckily I had great support both from the owners of the place and from my friends and collaborators. Also the press was quite helpful I have to say. At the end the party was just great. A lot of people but, most of all, lots of good vibes. The music of DJ Bakto was just the right stuff for the occasion and the projections of the movie excerpts on the walls did the rest.

We were able to collect almost 600 Euro for our movie while having fun! Now we just need very little to finally reach the goal. The final countdown has started. This is the last week!

If you haven’t yet contributed to the project this is the right moment to do it!

We have no good photos of the party as we were too busy enjoying it. But here you have pics of the 4 T-Shirts we produced for the event. Do you like them?

My name is Janez Janša and I am the director of the documentary »My name is Janez Janša«. Right now the film is in its postproduction phase. In this phase we resorted to an innovative way of financing our project: crowdfunding or funding by the masses. In this way a high number of individuals financially support creative projects by offering small or large amounts and thus ensure that good ideas are realized. Most of the funds, which will be collected through the crowdfunding platform Verkami, will be used for the postproduction of the international cinema and shorter television versions of the film and their worldwide distribution.
